11 Weeks

So I feel like this is the week of firsts I can just notice so much more this week, Evie is busy looking around at everything from the trees her first look at a dog , looking at the ocean, also reaching out and grabbing things all very exciting well it is for me. She is so happy every time she wakes up now and the crying gets less and i can figure out why shes crying now feel like I'm getting to know here so much better. Just when I think I couldnt possibly love anymore I get suprised at how much i feel for this little being and she gets more beautiful everyday .

Also she has started sleeping till 5am last feed at 10.30 so I'm very happy as I'm getting allot of sleep. I'm sure it will all change next week but for now its great.

We are nearly settled in at our new home and absolutely loving it , its nice to explore a new area especially walking everywhere to Bondi it takes about 30 minutes.

The sunshine has finally come out and the days are just beautiful, the whales have been out more now saw some yesterday and Kelly my flatmate saw some hanging out of the rocks right near our house this morning so amazing and took this brilliant picture.

This is Evie's new teddy bear sent from her Grandparents in Germany as you can see she loves it. It's a handmade German Steiff bear very special. I had to put mittens on her this week as she kept scratching me and her face and its cold.

10 Weeks

SO Evie is Great , We have gotten more into our routine which is working amazing and Evie is so much happier. I think because she is getting allot of sleep so she wakes up all happy and smiley its so cute. SHe is talking to me more everyday and was even singing along with me today in her baby cooing styke signing very cute.

9 Week Cuteness

Okay so Im biased but can she get any cutier???

Bit of a hectic week, Evie seems to only sleep for forty minutes at a time during the day called catnapping and at night is waking allot every couple of hours now which I haven't experienced before so Im feeling exhausted, quite delirious and I cant sleep during the day cause she only sleeps for forty minutes and Im so busy packing so yeah Im knackered and today was a tough one lots of crying. AGHHHH out come the earplugs....She is so loud wonder where she gets thats from???mmmm

8 week Bliss

So Evie had her injections on Monday she did so well and only cried for a small time as I was feeding her at the time. She was a little grumpier then normal but I've got her on a routine and Wow I cant believe its working. She slept through the night last night okay so she woke up at 5.30 but 8 weeks old and sleeping through the night I'm so happy. Shes so much happier as she has been really unsettled during the days , lots of crying and not much sleeping so then by the evenings shes super tired and over tired then becomes very unsettled and cries. Now we are doing the routine she goes to bed at 7 pm I don't know what to do with myself I have all this free time and I can predict it as well.


I Started a new mums group down at Bondi the mums are all really down to earth and not one hundred percent focused on babies which is a nice change. Getting out and about even in the rain, and started walking long distances everyday great while Evie's asleep. Now I have a bit of a life back I need to do some more interesting things during the days so I'm planning lots of days out.

So Evie's talking allot more now and is happy to sit in the rocker while I cook or have a shower as long as I talk to her and give her attention shes happy. I also got Chris and Leigh to babysit last night while I have a massage . So good and Evie was perfect except for the tornado poo it went everywhere luckily I packed spare clothes. She is smiling at everyone , so funny and then she tries to talk to you as well.
